South Hill Designs – Party Plan Jewelry Company Leads In Growth By Using Technology

Jewelry company South Hill Designs has been ranked in first place among “top performer” MLM and party-plan companies by aggressively adopting new technology tools.

Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) May 07, 2013
Jewelry Company South Hill Designs has been independently ranked number one “MLM Top Performer” after implementing new technologies to drive growth. The company is also ranked number one in the equivalent rankings for home party companies.
Two independent websites that track public interest in MLM and party plan companies have ranked South Hill Designs in first place over the past six months, with an increase during this period of more than 1,000%.
CEO Brian Palmer attributes the company’s rapid growth to its commitment to innovation and the strategic use of technology. Palmer said: “COO Joe Ochoa and I both come from technology backgrounds and we are using this experience to streamline every aspect of South Hill’s operations.”
A key focus has been the use of advanced software to manage the supply chain, ensuring that customers are not troubled by major product shortages or waiting times.
The same philosophy has been applied to outward-facing functions. For example, the company recently launched an online tool called “Start a Social”. This enables independent distributors (known as “Artists”) to quickly set up each new South Hill Designs social event. All the transactions for the social are logged online, which saves time managing inventory and bookkeeping. A significant feature is the ability of the hostess to access the system with her own password and calculate all the free gifts and rewards she has earned.
“Within days of launching 'Start a Social', our Artists have reported how flawlessly the system works,” Ochoa said. “They find that hostesses are motivated by the ease of seeing their rewards the moment the social is over.”
Another innovation from South Hill Designs is the introduction of weekly commission payments. In the party-plan industry at large, it can take a month or more to pay distributors following a home event. By leveraging their innovative technology platform, South Hill Designs can instantly load money onto the Artist’s own company-branded debit card.
Director of Sales, Amy Faircloth said: “We want our Artists to experience a direct connection between their efforts and their rewards. So rapid payment of commissions is a must. With weekly payments we can show our Artists how much we appreciate their commitment. ”
The company’s innovations have caught the attention of Mike Sheffield, founder and CEO of the Sheffield Group, which is recognized as the leading consulting organization in the direct sales industry. “In this business, you want your distributors to spend as much time as possible face-to-face with their customers — and as little time as necessary doing paperwork or struggling with inventory. Technology can achieve that, but only with robust and easy-to-use systems. South Hill Designs is a model case study. I’ve rarely seen the application of technology deliver such immediate results in growing distributors, customers and sales.”
Sheffield added: “Other players in the industry should look at South Hill Designs and learn.”

THE COST OF SAVING A DOLLAR

I know what it’s like having too much month at the end of your money. I’ve been there, and I’m still there sometimes. There are times though, when being frugal or “saving a dollar” will truly cost you more in the long run. If it doesn’t cost you, it costs someone else. There are many industries that this pertains to — any small or local business fits right under several of the following persuasions. We’re not going to cover everything — but I do want to give you some things to think about when you find out a friend of yours has began a “direct selling” business.

Direct selling businesses are not pyramid schemes, they’re not ponzi schemes, they’re not illegal. If the company is a member of the Direct Selling Association — they have very high standards of ethics. They’re genuine business opportunities and they’re real jobs. I will never know why your friends are selling a product or service, but whether they’re selling Thirty-One Gifts, Premier Designs Jewelry, It Works, or any other sort of person-to-person product–they’re worth supporting.

As you all know, I am a direct seller — but we’re not going to talk about me. I’m not even going to tell you why you should buy my products over a store-brand product… and you know I’ve got an exhaustive list of reasons. This isn’t a product vs. product issue.

This is about voting with your dollar.

I can’t speak for all of the direct selling companies, and I truly encourage you to do some research of any companies your friends have signed on with to see where the values of the company lie — but I know that the company I work for, and several companies my friends work for have huge hearts. Yes, we’re going to assume they have hearts.. not the beating kind, but you know… hearts. Several of these companies (not necessarily mine specifically, and not necessarily all of them) have give back programs for several different non-profits and charities, many of them make it a point to help women get out of debt and others to find refuge from bad home situations… Several of them make it a point to give more than they take, they treat their consultants as individuals and not numbers… They help their consultants see their own worth and value — without being told what they’re worth by someone else. Every single direct sales company that I have friends participating in encourages self-improvement, positive attitude, personal development, and financial freedom.

Not a single person at your local big box corporation is going to miss your $15. You’re not creating jobs. You’re not supporting a cause. You’re not directly improving anyone’s life.

I don’t know the reasons why everyone chooses direct selling — but I do know that many companies have a low enough start up cost in order to improve the lives of the people who really work their new businesses. I know plenty of people in the industry who desperately appreciate your dollar. They’re the following kinds of people–several of which you know, and several of which I have on my own direct-selling team:

Retired men and women who cannot make ends meet on social security.
Single mothers and fathers who are working their tails off to support their families and doing everything they can to stay off of government assistance in a dual-income society.
College students who don’t want to end up like their parents or older siblings who are still suffocated by student loan debt and desire to pay for their educations outright.
People who hate Mondays, hate their jobs, hate being yelled at by their boss, and truly wish to be free.
Moms who are trying to earn enough supplemental income to be able to stay at home with their own children instead of having them raised by someone else.
Moms who are trying to earn enough to allow their husbands to find less demanding jobs.
Military wives who are trying to supplement their soldier’s income and support their families.
People who work full-time jobs and need a part-time job, just to keep from losing their homes, because they just don’t get paid enough — but can’t afford more time away from their families.
People who are just trying to pay off all of their student loan debt, medical debt, credit card debt, tax debt, any debt, and want to really be able to start living again.
People who just want a vacation once in a while!
People who are also just looking for a way to save a dollar…

No, you don't have to buy everything your friends are selling - but if you're able to, please do. Sure you could buy something from Wal-Mart, or wherever, for less that you can from your friend- but where does that money go?

Now, some of you are thinking "Well, my friend only makes 25% commission on a $40 product that I can buy for $20 instead. "just remember, that other $30 isn't just going straight to the top, to the CEO, Another 10% is probably going to the consultant above them..then another 10% is going to the consultant they signed up under and so fourth. You're not only helping your friend - you're the people who help them, too...You may just be helping your friends save up for her dream vacation - but you're also helping her sponsor pay for her kids piano lessons - and you're helping her sponsor's sponsor pay for her mother to be in a nicer nursing home. Your dollar just keeps going up to generally deserving people...That other 75% isn't just getting lost, it's not just lining a corporations pockets..it's continuing the cycle of helping people achieve their dreams, improve the attitude, and change their lives.
Even if you switch from buying off-brand all the time, to off-brand some of the time...you're helping someone. Every little bit counts.
I can't speak for everyone, but I truly do appreciate your dollar!! and I know you worked hard for it...I work hard for mine too!!
Blings and Blessings,
Sherri

DIRECT SALES- IT'S NOT ABOUT THE MONEY

I’m not the best blogger but I’m a work-in-progress!
It’s true that signing up with a Direct Sales company for you might just be about the money, but, as with several areas of our lives — money is really a terrible motivator. That’s not what life’s about, and it keeps you and your business stuck in a very shallow pool. It’s really important, if you’re going to consider direct selling, that you truly find your “why.”
When I signed on — I was looking for a fresh new exciting company that I could grow with and be a Motivational Leader for my Team.
The thing is — I wasn’t doing it really “for the money.” It’s just so amazing watching the personal transformation it actually takes to reach higher levels in direct sales. It’s not “who’s the better business person” or “who has the best charisma.” No — it’s about overall self improvement.  People want someone to watch and look up to. I was seeing women in my company overcome their negative self images, their low self-esteem, their fears of failure. I wanted that!!!
.Here’s the thing.. the money wasn’t great at first by any means — but no one can shake their fist at a couple hundred extra dollars a month. It’s not a living by any means — but hey, I was doing that in 10 or so hours a month. I met several people who had actually began to make money at what we were doing… I don’t settle for “half way” so I figured, “Hey, if they can do it – so can I!” So, I asked them what they were doing and I COPIED EVERYTHING. Straight up COPIED IT. I knew what they were doing and it was working, I wasn’t going to invent the wheel — but my determination to get to that end goal was pretty fierce. Why? I just wanted it. Why not!  —  I see these people who don’t have to work, and can still provide for their families. Who doesn’t want that?
I always knew that I wanted people to say amazing things about me when I died. Do you ever think about what people would say about you when you’re gone? Even if it’s just for the 5 minutes you leave the room — could anyone say something bad about you? My goal is to someday be able to answer that question with a resounding “NO.” I want to leave a legacy and I know the only way to do that is to learn how to serve others before serving yourself… Give more than I get. I’m not perfect, and I’m still learning — but the only times I’ve ever “grown” or “promoted” in my company is by making the choice to change. To stop being the same person I was before I started getting results. To stop being negative, to stop putting myself down so much, to stop wallowing in self-pity and to stop blaming anyone else for my problems. It’s funny how placing these kinds of attitudes into your business soon overtakes your entire person. But really, were those attitudes starting with my business or with myself? Positive attitudes get POSITIVE RESULTS. Being negative gets you negative results. It’s win-win. No one wants to be around a negative person, and people can see one coming a mile away.  I was done being hateful toward myself, I was done putting myself down. I was absolutely, wholeheartedly, done letting fear in any area of my life win over faith. If I wanted results — they had to start from within.
Sure, with promotions comes money. But, that’s just a perk. What really came with each one of my promotions with my company? Confidence, regularly choosing faith over fear, self-appreciation, genuine happiness, value. While I have been able to stop working and stay home with my kids —was my biggest “why” for what I was doing — it’s become so much more than that.
I’ve slowly realized that I’M WORTH IT. I’m worth working my tail off to get to where I want to be. Because with every hour I put into my business, I’m improving myself, too. Why do I believe this is something extremely valuable to the direct selling industry? Because every day that I wake up, I’m choosing my paycheck. I’m choosing my value and I’m choosing who I’m going to be and what I’m going to do. The freedom of not working for someone else, though, also means you can have a crummy day if you have to… you can deal with a life crisis if you need to… But the positivity and the confidence that I personally know that I’ve gained through this experience helps me to deal with anything that comes my way in a completely renewed light.
Is your direct selling business struggling? Is it mirroring the feeling you have inside about yourself or about your abilities to succeed? You’re only ever going to succeed if you believe you can and believe you deserve it. People are attracted to confidence — and you won’t get that from anyone but yourself. You have to choose!!!.

SHERRI

March Wrap Up

March was an awesome month with this new business. The Lockets 2 Stories Team grew 67%, and one of our new team members had her first promotion in just 2 short weeks! I love being able to see that kind of success and share it with others. It’s about seeing people reach their goals. We have a celebration every time that happens.

Because of my awesome team, I also saw my second promotion in only my second month with the company.  I certainly wouldn’t have done that without my amazing team. They are awesome and I wish you could meet each and every one of them.

We also had over 20 new charms introduced in March, as well as our new screens. These are really awesome and you will love how they look in your lockets. The other great news for March is that our exclusive pink lockets are here to stay! They have been so popular that they are now a permanent part of the South Hill Designs products, and remember, they are exclusive to South Hill Designs!

South Hill Designs New Products

I love the innovation at South Hill Designs! We frequently see many new things and it’s a great sign that the company is innovating and growing. It is something I really enjoy being a part of.

New Charms

This last week, we’ve had several new charms released. I love these new ones and cannot wait to start using them in some of our lockets. What story could you tell with these?

Remember that those crystals are Swavorski crystals! They do indeed sparkle and shine when you put them in a locket.

Screens!

In what I believe will be a very popular item, our new screens were released today! They come in three colors, silver, gold and rose gold. These are really going to add some great choices for your lockets!

New Opportunities!

My team grew 67% in March! It’s so exciting and I love working with this group of women. We are inspiring our customers and each other and we are truly inspired by the stories our customers create! With the new compensation plan we also had introduced this month, the earning potential for every single person is great. If you’re interested, don’t wait, drop me a note and let’s chat!

So what is your favorite in all of the new things? I can’t wait to hear what you love!

"PINK" LOCKET SHOWS PASSION FOR INNOVATION

"PINK" Locket shows passion for innovation: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2013/2/prweb10390318.htm

South Hill Designs, a new jewelry company that started in Arizona at the end of 2012, has already expanded into 45 states; the company attributes this rapid growth to its commitment to innovation, with a succession of new products released in the first three months. The latest offering, dubbed the “PINK” is a silver locket ringed by pink colored Swarovski crystals.

Scottsdale, Arizona (PRWEB) February 04, 2013

South Hill Designs, a new jewelry company, has just announced a first-of-its-kind creation called the “PINK.” The silver-toned locket is ringed by pink Swarovski crystals, creating a colorful and sparkling circle around the locket’s contents.
The PINK locket is unusual not only for its crystal embellishment, but also for the choice of sizes, including a “mini” which is a mere 0.75 inches across. The locket is the latest addition to the “Wear Your Story” line of jewelry that is the specialty of South Hill Designs. Customers select from a range of charms to place inside the locket, to express their particular interests. Each PINK Locket comes with its own 18-inch chain.
“Our customers were already raving about our silver mini,” says Chief Operating Officer Joe Ochoa, “because lockets of that size and quality are impossible to find. The addition of high quality crystals has proved an instant hit.”
The idea for the new locket came from the company’s Director of Design, Tamara Ochoa, who is also responsible for the charms that customers choose from. Under her guidance, South Hill Designs has tripled its range of charms in the first three months of operation, from 90 to 270.
Tamara Ochoa says: “Most of all, we aim for a sweetness in the design and exquisitely well crafted pieces.”
The company believes that by continually introducing new ideas in its jewelry offering, it can maintain the level of excitement of its early distributors and keep building a nationwide customer base.
“The idea of innovation is usually associated with hard science and high technology,” says CEO Brian Palmer. “But innovation can also be tender, sparkling and fun—like our Pink Locket.”
About South Hill Designs
South Hill Designs is a jewelry company that enables women to assemble their own jewelry from a selection of lockets, charms, coins, chains and droplets. The company’s products are marketed by independent distributors, known as Artists, through private parties held in customers’ homes.

South Hill Designs

South Hill Designs, a party plan company, has been rapidly growing in “pre-launch” mode since October 2012. The company has now announced its full launch for February 25th, with a series of events and promotions across the United States.

South Hill Designs, a new jewelry company, has just announced that its full launch is scheduled for February 25th, 2013. South Hill lets customers create their own jewelry from a range of lockets, charms and chains. For the prior four months, the company has experienced accelerating growth across America.

“Our product concept is irresistible,” says newly appointed Director of Sales Amy Faircloth. “It’s one thing to just buy jewelry. It’s another to create the jewelry that expresses your unique story. That’s what South Hill is all about: people finding ways to show the world what they love.”

Even before its official launch, South Hill Designs has experienced growth way beyond its founders’ expectations. Starting in Scottsdale, Arizona with a handful of independent distributors (called “Artists”), the company has fanned out across the country. There are now over 650 Artists operating in 48 states, hosting or organizing socials where customers select their pieces and create their jewelry together.

“It’s hard to imagine a better product for our business model,” Faircloth says. “Getting together to design your own jewelry, swapping stories, comparing creations—now that’s what you can call a social!”

Founders Joe Ochoa and Brian Palmer have been careful to match the rapid growth in customers with an equivalent expansion of the product line. “It’s important that our Artists, hostesses and customers keep seeing new innovations from South Hill,” Ochoa explains. “We’ve released dozens of new charms and lockets over the past four weeks alone.
“This is the day when we say, ‘Hello World, South Hill Designs has arrived!’ From the 25th onward, we are fully prepared for a major new surge in growth all across the United States.”
